ABOUT OUR CONCENTRATE: Shatter is created when mixed hydrocarbons are washed over dried cannabis plant material. The butane leaves behind most of the undesirable compounds, leaving behind a high potency, stable extract. After an initial refinement step, the concentrate is then meticulously rolled into a thin, usually translucent sheet. This sheet is then broken into little pieces, or shattered, which is where its name comes from! In our facility, the processing team works with the harvest team to determine which strains are ideal for extraction. As soon as the plants are dry, the processing team gets to work. By transferring these products immediately after drying, we ensure that patients receive the freshest, most potent and flavorful cannabis extract possible. While similar in effect to wax, patients often find that shatter is easier to work with than wax because of its firm, brittle texture. STORAGE: Store in a cool, dry location without direct sunlight. If your shatter is exposed to high temperature, it can become sticky and difficult to work with. If this occurs, refold the parchment paper, place in the freezer for 30 seconds, remove from freezer, and quickly pull the paper apart. TEMPERATURE RECOMMENDATION: 450°F-600°F Low temp = Best flavor Higher temp = More vapor production * We recommend a temp of 450°F for all of our extracts, and with shatter, temperature matters! The temperature of the device at the moment of consumption will affect flavor and the effects received.
