Every once in a while there’s a cut that impresses without calling too much attention to itself. Triangle Queen by Relentless Genetics is that sort of cultivar. Refined. Demure. Almost regal. Its dense, chunky flowers - gorgeous and otherworldly when freshly harvested and somewhat understated nugs when dry - are caked in trichomes that befit a true queen. Leaning in, she has a phenomenally complex aroma that emanate notes of tropical fruit and subdued sour off the top with muted rubber and earthy forest floor rounding out the bottom. Flavour-wise, it’s orangey citrus on the dry pull with an initial musky cherry on the first hit once sparked. The thick smoke is majestic with tropical sweetness, sour gas and a dash of soap mingling throughout. The exhale is a citrus orange perfume with just a hint of marzipan.
