Kief is the collection of trichomes, which are the resin glands on the plant that contain cannabinoids, terpenes and other compounds. Kief is collected through a manual process of running the cannabis flower through mesh screens. The texture is like sand and has a high concentration of THC which can typically range from 25%-75% THC. Kief is often used as an enhancement for flower consumption. Solventless cannabis concentrate is a type of concentrate that is produced without solvents, but is a manual or heat based approach to separate cannabinoids and terpenes from the cannabis plant.
