Bubble hash, also known as cold water hash or ice wax, is collected through a manual process of agitating resinous cannabis in a slurry of ice, water and plant material. Cold temperatures make the trichome resin glands brittle and the ice shaves off the heads which are then separated using micron screens or “bubble bags” which filter the trichomes through different micron size screens for quality assurance. The trichomes are dried and the resulting hash is flavorful and potent and can be added to the flower to be smoked or enjoyed by itself. Hash or hashish is a collection of trichomes separated from resinous plant material. Hash can be consumed with flower and provides an enhanced potency and flavor compared to traditional flower consumption. Solventless cannabis concentrate is a type of concentrate that is produced without solvents, but is a manual or heat based approach to separate cannabinoids and terpenes from the cannabis plant. Examples include kief, rosin, hash and live solventless.
