We evaporate off all of the solvent and finish off by purging the solution inside of a vacuum oven. Shatter is then created and remains a concentrated form of cannabis. When this type of extraction takes place, it removes cannabiniods and few terpenes. This causes the potency to be dramatically higher than the cannabis potency that comes in flower form. Shatter is also known as cannabiniod THCA. Once shatter is heated and ready to inhale, then THCA converts over to THC, which allows the concentrate to become activated. Shatter is recommended to be stored inside of a cooler temperatured environment.
