Minnesota Reports $250 Million in Combined Adult-Use and Medical Sales
The regulator's September 15 release provides the sales breakdown.
OCM separates the total into roughly $150 million adult-use and $100 million medical.
Minnesota's Office of Cannabis Management reported more than $250 million in combined cannabis sales over the first year of the statewide adult-use market. Its September 15, 2026 release puts adult-use purchases at approximately $150 million and medical purchases at $100 million.
Statewide sales at state-licensed adult-use businesses began September 16, 2025; tribal retail operations had started earlier. The agency says separate lower-potency hemp sales are not captured in its tracking system.
Editorial clarification, September 17, 2026: The headline now explicitly identifies the combined total. Unrelated medical and youth-use claims have been removed; this report is not a live inventory measurement.
