Our name, Ceria (rhymes with “area”), pays homage to Ceres, the ancient Roman goddess of harvest. According to popular myths, Ceres was the guardian of precious crops like wheat, hops, and barley, which means she held the magic key to brewing delicious beer. There’s no one we’d rather have on our can. Sometime around 5000 years ago humans first started combining barley, water and other ingredients and playing around with this thing called beer. With that same energy, we started Ceria. Combining a commitment to craft with a desire to do things differently we created an alcohol-free beer with the flavor you’d expect from a world-class brewery. From creating our own brewing methods to experimenting with different flavor notes, we’re excited for you to try Ceria for yourself. It might be the best thing to happen in beer since brewing.
